So sorry to hear this but please, keep up the fight Alli. We are all cheering for you. You make such a difference in so many lives. Love and Hugs. Doreen
HI Alli....you don't know me....but I was diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma in 2006. Within 8 months it invaded both my lungs progressing me to Stage 4. I had a lung resection for pathology verification and then started IL-2 treatments. I have been NED since 2008. Stage 4 MM isn't an automatic death sentence....I look at my situation as a chronic disease that I am managing. I would be happy to talk with you. If I can be of any help feel free to contact me. Breathe, gather important info, and remember to keep the FAITH. I'm sure God has a plan for you. grdngt@aol.com Debbie Hennessy
Alli I agree with Debbie don't take this as the end. You know what they say stand up and Fight like a Girl! You have many choices these days look to your resources go with only those you trust. My daughter use to say "mom every day I live I have hope that a cure will come soon. Another thing she reminded me of was I can live with Melanoma as long as it stays small. Its when it starts growing that makes me worry". Sadly she didn't make that cure, but since she passed there have been several new trials and the FDA approved drugs. Who knows they could of made of difference. So Alli my prayers for you will be that one of them will work. Please take a look at what we are doing in her memory at www.facebook.com/tinasplacemi. For now Big hugs and one last shout to you FIGHT!
